The stage before the show.
My friend Josh and I went down to Portland and stayed with a friend who is in school there. We drove down in street clothes and then somehow convinced a clerk at the front desk of the 24 hour fitness near the theater to let us change in the locker room.

Waiting for the show to start.
As you can tell we were in the nose bleed section but I had remembered the pair of opera glasses I had bought on ebay awhile ago. They came in super handy.

Basking in the glow after the show.
I have to recommend this musical to anyone who likes watching showes where the characters periodically dance about and burst into song. (I do! I do!)

Dad reading a letter he prepared about Bergies exploits at Bergies 65 birthday party. Bergie is sitting to the right in the pink hat. I think both Dad and Bergie got a little verklempt at some point it was really neat!

Janie singing some of the songs she has written about Dennis and her family. It was very sweet. I am glad that this family has been apart of my life they have provided friendship and funny stories for a long time.

And as no trip to Hood River would be complete without it I went to Moms grave and left some flowers.

That sounds like so much FUN! I hope I get to see Wicked when it comes to Seattle some day. Ella was sitting on my lap just now when I watched the Popular video. At the end of the song she says "That song was bea-u-tiful Mommy".
I hope Dad does a post on his blog about the letter he wrote to Berg! *HINT HINT DAD!
I want that pink dress! It is totally me.
What did mom think of Josh? She said nothing when I introduced her to Ken. I don't care though, I talk to her anyway :)
Love Ya!
