I have been gardening a little this year and this is my first harvest. While I was raised gardening every year. I have little experience in planning a garden, my main set of skills was following directions in planting, weeding and harvesting. so I am trying to figure out how to space things and when to harvest them etc.
This year I planted 2 tomato plants, a red and green bell pepper, a zucchini and half a dozen each green bean and snow pea plants. As seen above I have snow peas and lettuce. I planted a second round of lettuce tonight to work on replacing the one I harvested. I think I harvested it a little latter than I should have so I will pick it earlier next time. I moved the Zucchini plant to its own container because it was overwhelming the space it was in we'll see if it kills it. Fingers crossed. In the process of moving it I found the foot long zucchini hidden in the leaves. I don't think you are supposed to let it get that big either so I am not sure it it is still edible. Anyway I am learning a lot so hopefully next year will go better.
