Ahhhhhh isn't that sweet

So a couple of weeks ago I woke up on Saturday super movivated. I spent most of the morning cleaning out my house and doing laundry. It was not till the early afternoon that I finally ventured out of doors and this was the sight that greeted me:

I was startled to say the least, but isn't it sweet? Here is another view:

I had a hunch who might have done it and before you get any ideas about it being from an admirer, it wasn't. My first clue was the fact that there was no note and what man would go to all of this trouble and not take credit for it. It did make my day though no matter who did it.

My latest Project..

So in my new place I have long hall that goes to my bedroom. The bathroom and laundry room door are off of the same hall. So far it was just a blank space and I had not done anything with it. But a couple of weeks ago I decided to make the long empty wall into a family scrapbook. I choose to put mostly pictures of immediate family and I wanted to have candid shots in with all of the formal family ones. So with out further adu this is what I have so far....

This is the view down the hall:

This is two shots that show some of the pictures:

I found these two picks of the house in Parkdale and had to included them on the wall even though no family members are in them. it shows the house in summer and winter from nearly the same vantage point for each. I think I will always miss living there it has always been like my own little house on the prairie:

I have several other projects I am working on and I will try to keep you all updated on them. I think next I will focus on the set of dressers Dad gave me. Many of you will remember them as the set Mom and Dad got that used to be army dressers. I am working on refinishing them and if it turns out hideous I will most likely paint them. Right now I have all but 2 of the drawers sanded. I feel like that shop class in sixth grade is coming in more and more handy recently:)

I will not be working on them again for a couple of weeks because some friends and I are going to the Oregon cost for Single Awareness Day (SAD - February 14th mark you calenders!) this next weekend. I will post some picks when I get back!
